Remember Exodus 2:14?

“When Pharaoh heard about Moses murdering an Egyptian, Pharaoh sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled to Midian. And Moses sat down by a well.”

Moses sat down by a well, covered in guilt and shame, homeless, humanly alone, with no mission, SITTING BY A WELL

He had blown EVERYTHING.

Wasted his privilege of growing up a Royal

Wasted his education

Wasted God’s miraculous saving of his life as a baby

Suffocated by guilt and shame

But God…

God is the ultimate Redeemer

God was not done with Moses, God was just getting started

Feeling like you deserve God being done with you?

You do deserve that, as do I

But God…

A God of grace, mercy, forgiveness and Redemption

Moses, you and me will have “murdered Egyptians” on our resume

Moses, you and me will have “sitting by a well” moments and seasons

But God…

Moses you and me will also have Mountaintops

Moses you and me will also have renewed passions and new missions

A God who loves Redemption

God does the Best Work
