timing
Exodus 12
“At midnight, the Lord struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt”
“The time that the people of Israel lived in Egypt was 430 years. At the end of 430 years, on the very day, they all went from the the land of Egypt.”
Midnight. 430 years, to the day, the hour, the minute, and the second
God’s timing is precise
Things happen precisely when He desires things to happen
When God says no or not yet, or wait, it initially sucks
Proverbs 13:12 says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick”
I have had countless days of heart sickness
Masks and jabs do not work on the heart sick virus either
Each time leaves me a choice
I can move toward me being a god; I know the future, I know what is best, I know when something needs to happen and get dominated by anxiety, because, deep down, I know the truest thing about me; I am not God
or
I can move away from self-worship, self-reliance, and crippling anxiety and by faith, move towards God and center my trust on Him.
He is good at being God. He is a good God.
He is all-powerful, no molecule is outside His dominion
He is sovereign, no heart he cannot turn or direct at any time
He is good, He is good, and does good
He is all-knowing, He knows it all
100% of the time God is acting towards us, with His yeses, nos and waits, for His Glory, The Good of Others, and Our Good
He will always deliver to us, precisely what we need, WHEN WE NEED IT
He is playing billions of chess games at once, we can barely play our game of checkers
“If you knew all that God knows, you would answer your prayers exactly like He does.”
In my experiences, God is rarely early, but never late.
Grindforth!…trusting
