Waves come and go

Make a splash

Easy to see

Exotic, even

Tides grind all-day

Below the surface

In the dark, grit, grind, grit, grind, again

Waves rarely do much, and die quickly

Tides change things

People are wowed by waves, take pictures even

People are moved by tides, taken somewhere else

Waves love sizzle; Tides love steaks

Waves are a breath mint, Tides are surf and turf

Waves are decaf, Tides are quad expresso

Waves love selfies; Tides love results
