The Power of No

Transitions and Necessary Endings

What we say “no” to is as important, if not more important, as what we say ”yes” to.

I’ve found, often, I needed to muster the courage and initiate the necessary ending, the “no” or “no longer”, before the “yes” opportunity even surfaced.

The swing of life does not always let us have the next rope in our right hand before we let go of what’s in our left hand…the known.

That’s scary.

Comfort is dangerous, as is “having a pretty good thing going”.

Abraham left Ur at 80 “not knowing where he was going”.

Matthew (McConaughey, the the Apostle) gives us an incredible example of courageously leaving good to chase after great.

Leaving what you can do to chase what you should do.
