Learn to dance with pain and grief

Life is full of both

Attempts to numb pain, numb everything

You can’t selectively numb emotions

Learn to be glad, with sadness

Laugh, with heartache

Feel great, with some pain

This is not heaven

The world is broken

It is not at it once was (Gen 1 & 2)

Or as it one day will be again (Rev 19 & 20)
