Proverbs 20:5

“The purpose in a man’s heart

is like deep water,

but a man of understanding

will draw it out.”

Our purpose. Our why. The core of our soul.

It’s in there.

But it is deep.

That journey within to mine the gold God has placed in our soul…worth almost any price for those courageous enough to take it.

It's painful work.

Hard work.

You’ll revisit hurts and wounds.

You’ll dig up some skeletons.

You will have trouble to make words of it.

But it can be drawn out.

I’ve seen it.

You’ll probably need a guide.

But it’s also glorious down there.

And healing.

And freeing.

And life simplifying.

You’ll find Jesus there.

Wise is the one who often scuba dives to those deep waters of the soul.
