Life is hard, God is faithful.

Both are true.

Weary and worn out points to our limits.

Points to our need.

Points to our insufficiency.

Points to our humanity.

Weary and worn out?

Welcome to your humanity.

You are human. Shocking, I know. Everyone human you know is human.

Humans gonna human.

No matter how high and how much you look up to them.

Grace given to ourselves is the hardest grace to receive.

Give yourself the grace to turn it off.

Rest. Feast. Worship. Renew. Refresh. Restore.

Turn on what replenishes you.

AI doesn’t get weary or worn out.

Nor does Alexa. But boy, would they suck as friends.
