Nine plagues in the rearview, Moses warns Pharoah about number ten

How specific is God? How detailed is He?

Does God concern Himself with the most minute parts of our lives?

“v5 the firstborn of the Egyptians shall die,

from the first born of Pharoah on his throne

to the servant girl behind the handmill.”

God knows. He knows who is behind the handmill

I don’t even know what a handmill is, and God knows who is behind it

“v7 Not even a dog shall growl against any of the people of Israel.”

God knows. God took the initiative to quiet dogs upset with his people.

God involves himself with barking dogs.

He knows who is behind the handmill, and the temperament and mood of any dog around millions of Israelites.

God’s got it. His care is complete.

His activity, love and activity on our behalf flows down to wherever we are and whatever is in front of us.
