Exodus 15

v31, “Israel saw the great power that the Lord used against the Egyptians,

and they believed in the Lord

and they believed in His servant Moses”

People are funny, and fickle

Before lunch they are blasting Moses, after lunch they are praising God for him

Moses is unfazed by either

The Red Sea was parted, for their good

The Red Sea was reunited, for their good

‘Cause God is good and does good

Moses breaks out in song and sister Miriam, her tambourine

I will sing to the Lord

He has triumphed gloriously

Horses and riders little the bottom of the Red Sea

The Lord is my strength

The Lord is my song

The Lord has become my salvation

This is my God and my father’s God

I will praise Him

I will exalt Him

Your Right Hand, O Lord, glorious in power

Your Right Hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy

At the blast of your nostrils, the waters piled up

You blew with your wind, the sea covered them, they sank like lead

Who is like you, God?

Majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders

You have led in Your steadfast love, the people who You have redeemed

You have guided them by Your strength to Your holy abode

The Lord will reign forever and ever

When the Lord parts Red Seas for you, the only appropriate response is to SANG

Grindforth!…with a tambourine and with the reality that 3 verses later, the people grumbled against Moses, again
